Why the Luego Language?

  • Business friendly language with a syntax close to natual language so that non technical people can understand, validate or even participate in the development of decision models
  • Verifiable logic: providing effective guardrails against the most common programming mistake. Providing a safe programming model is key for non technical people to start using the language.
  • Explainable results to provide backward traceability from a computed result to a series of computation steps, references to the company policies and applicable regulations and the actual known facts provided as inputs.
  • Interactive computations: this refers to the ability of the Luego engine to determine missing information elements that are required to reach a conclusion. This can be used in hybrid AI applications build conversational agents able to ask questions to the user in context or to fetch data from various data sources.
